เสียบสาย serial แล้วทำการบู๊ตสวิทช์ขณะที่สวิทช์กำลังบู๊ตให้คอยดูหน้าจอ
เมื่อหน้าจอแสดง “—–DONE—–” ให้กดปุ่ม ctrl กับ u พร้อมกันประมาณ 5 ครั้งขึ้นไป
จะมีหน้า password prompt แสดงขึ้นมา ให้ใส่ password ว่า switch
จากนั้นหน้าจอจะแสดงรายการของไฟล์ในสวิทช์ ให้กด D
ให้ทำการใส่ชื่อไฟล์ที่ลักษณะดูแล้วเป็นไฟล์คอนฟิก (ไฟล์ที่ไม่ใช่ runtime, diag, factory default, log หรือ certificate files)
กด Q และสวิทช์ก็จะบู๊ตกลับไปที่การตั้งค่าจากโรงงาน
Boot it while looking in the serial console then when it shows
“—–DONE—–” press ctrl-u quite a few times (more than 5)
A password prompt will come up, here enter “switch”
Now you should see a list of files on the switch, press D, and enter the filename of any files that look like configuration files (ones that aren’t runtime, diag, factory default, log or certificate files)
Press Q and the switch should boot up at factory default settings! (admin/switch)
